Key Personnel Changes at Comcar


Jim O’Donnell – VP and General Manager of Bulk Products and Chemicals

Jim O’Donnell has been named Vice President and General Manager of CCC Transportation, LLC and CTL Transportation, LLC. Jim joined Comcar in July 2018. He is a graduate of Towson University (BS, Business) and Loyola University of Maryland (MBA). He has over thirty years of experience in the freight transportation industry including assignments in sales, marketing, service design, budgeting and industrial development. Mike Ryan added, “Jim is a solid addition to our leadership team. His blend of leadership and experience, driven by fact based analysis, will give us the discipline we need in these two business entities to continue to grow and reinvest for the future.”

Luanne Galecke Vice President Operations at CTL

Luanne Galecke has been promoted to the position of Vice President Operations at CTL Transportation, LLC.

Luanne was previously Regional Sales Director for CTL in the Southeast and later the Terminal Manager for multiple terminal locations in the Southeast. She joined the organization in July of 2016. Luanne attended the University of Wisconsin Green Bay and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Human Development. Prior to coming to the Transportation industry Luanne was a Corporate Trainer at a large Insurance company in Green Bay, WI. Luanne’s previous experience included 18 years with Schneider National in Green Bay, WI where she held a variety of leadership roles in payroll and billing, operations, customer service and logistics. President & CEO Mike Ryan added, “Luanne’s hands on style and results driven leadership style is exactly what we need to ensure our demanding customers in the chemical and petroleum products markets continue to receive world class care.

Adney Davis – Director of Communications and Talent Retention

Adney Davis has been promoted to the new position of Director of Communications and Talent Retention. Adney’s responsibilities will continue to include the crafting of our company messages, internally and externally, to our employees, drivers and customers. She will also continue developing marketing campaigns for recruiting and for the sale of our transportation services. In her new expanded role, Adney will also oversee our driver recruiting department as we shift our focus to driver retention. Mike Ryan added, “Adney will take the lead as chief driver ambassador working closely with all of our business units and executives to improve our talent retention through the care of our drivers. Attracting and retaining talented drivers is imperative in order for Comcar to effectively and consistently service and grow our business.
